cruising….
Ever feel like you’ve “leveled out” in your spiritual life? Like you’ve been running hard toward God then all of a sudden you just hit cruise control and start to coast.
I’ve been there for about a week and a half now and I don’t like it. I think I’ve figured out why though. Striving to honor God in every aspect of your life is EXAUSTING! Maybe it’s just me but I feel like I’ve been 12 rounds Tyson.
I believe this is a natural process, it’s ok to take a breather every now and then but it can be too easy to become complacent. This is a HUGE trap that probably 99% of Christ followers fall into…including me.
I hope you all are finding rhythm in your life, and ever pursuing your spiritual walk…even when you feel beat up.

Answer to your post – Yes, of course.
Now something to chew on…..
In the spirit of Thanksgiving we watched a few clips from the Passion of the Christ in church today. I know, most people would say “Isn’t that more applicable at Easter?” You tell me – are you not thankful for the Cross AND more importantly the empty tomb? You can’t have the latter without the former. Now the surprise comment during the sermon (and the power is in how it was presented)….
To paraphrase the passage (correctly) stating that Christ could have called 10K angels to help Him…. At NO point during the trial, scourging or crucifixion did Jesus ever say Donald Kelly Ammon (insert your own name here) is NOT worth it. Yes, He could have said “Enough of this cat of 9 tails crap – I ain’t taking another lash for that sinner” BUT He did not – praise His name I am THANKFUL for that.
