I know, most people would say "Isn't that more applicable at Easter?" You tell me - are you not thankful for the Cross AND more importantly the empty tomb? You can't have the latter without the former. Now the surprise comment during the sermon (and the power is in how it was presented).... To paraphrase the passage (correctly) stating that Christ could have called 10K angels to help Him.... At NO point during the trial, scourging or crucifixion did Jesus ever say Donald Kelly Ammon (insert your own name here) is NOT worth it. Yes, He could have said "Enough of this cat of 9 tails crap - I ain't taking another lash for that sinner" BUT He did not - praise His name I am THANKFUL for that. Answer to your post – Yes, of course.
